Captcha is the Devil!

Seriously.  It is.

It really pisses me off and honestly, if I go to a blog/website/whatever and it has a Captcha requirement and it takes me more than one time to get it, I move on.  I don't find the effort worth it.  They say that Captcha helps decrease spam.  I disagree.  I find comment moderation much better.  I like it anyways so I can keep up with blog comments.

Do you agree? Disagree? Don't give a crap either ways?

All I know is...

Captcha is the devil.

Or debbbilllllllllllll.  Foosball's da debbil.  Ooooohhhh... I am going to watch Water Boy now...

this shit is for the birds... Peace Out.

  1. Hi Jaime! I completely agree with you - I HATE CAPTCHA!!! Don't see any reason for it at all when you can use plugins to catch the spam anyway... I loved this post, you have a great sense of humor! I found you through Mom Spark Media, I just joined up. Hope to get to know you better! :)

    1. Captcha is sooo annoying and pointless, right? It's a huge mind trap. They're trying to take over our brains. LOL. Thanks for finding me! I am so glad to "meet" you! I look forward to getting to know you better, too!

    1. Thank you! Captcha is totally the debbil! Yeah, spam is annoying but I can deal with the occasional spam post. I just don't approve their comment!

  4. Can I get an amen? I do have trouble with spam, or I would without a plug-in on WordPress, but that's just it. It's a simple plug-in. And you don't need Captcha. I won't post on a blog with Captcha unless I absolutely have to for some reason or other, and that is rare that I will jump through those hoops.

    1. Oh my goodness! Yes, yes, yes!!!! I don't have WP but Blogspot is pretty good about filtering spam. I know when I go to WP- I will have the plugins. All Captcha does is tick people off !

  5. I have posted the exact same thing on my site. It's completely unnecessary and makes it hard to comment.

  6. I agree. Usually some of the letters or number are blury and I have to do it around 3 times sometimes. Super annoying!

  7. I don't like it... I also don't like when I can't comment using Name/URL.. The facebook ones I don't like since I can't comment as my blog page. The google choice does nothing for me since my blog isn't linked to it and the wordpress option doesn't allow me to login.. always says bad credentials. I would love it all blogs just used name/url
