Fabulous Friday Finds!

Although I live in Phoenix and have for the last 17 years, I have a soft spot for the Plains states.  Having grown up with fields of wheat, fields of corn, soybeans, etc. and feed lots all over, I do appreciate the farmers and all they offer to our society.  Whenever I see photos of combines in the field, pictures of the great wide open skies, I get a tug in my heart and a flutter in my belly and realize how dearly I want to retire to the country.  That is my ultimate plan.  With that being said, the movie "Nebraska" is officially out on DVD and Blu-Ray!  I haven't seen it yet but I did make sure to purchase it when it came out.  Have you seen it yet? I have loved the previews and the reviews are glowing.  This movie is right up my alley!

And speaking of Kansas farmers... have you heard of the Peterson Farm Brothers from Kansas? You should totally watch their videos on Youtube.

I have also been on a HUGE Indie cosmetics kick lately.  ESPECIALLY Indie cosmetics who embrace the geek and the chic.  There are two that I am seriously obsessed with right now.  The first is Geek Chic Cosmetics.  I have been obsessing of their Superneutral (Supernatural), The Fellowship (Lord of the Rings), Witchcraft and Wizardry (aka Harry Potter) and Big Damn Heroes (Firefly! Swoon!) collections.  Oh let's be real.  I am obsessing over them all.   Check out this small screen shot from Big Damn Heroes! I can't handle it.  Swooooon.  This isn't even ALL of them!

The other awesome company? Shiro Cosmetics.  They also have an LOTR themed line called the Hobbit, but they also have a Hunger Games line.  Fabulousness! But what stole my heart? The Seven Kingdoms.  Oh yeah.  Oh yes, GRRM's Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire in all its glory. Seriously amazing.  AHMAZING.  This collection is huge, you really have to go there and see them all.  They're all quite stunning.  Must. have. them. now.

Do you have any exciting finds that you are lusting over?

Happy Friday!
