Easy Honey Chipotle Chicken Wings Recipe and
It's here- FOOTBALL SEASON!!! Of course, the big game is right around the corner and the big game requires big eats for football parties. After all, what is a tailgating or homegating party without food? Lots and lots of food. Of course, the spread MUST have wings. You can't have football without wings!
Of course, add these honey chipotle chicken wings to shake up the rotation. They're sweet, they're smoky, a little spicy and a whole lotta delish.
Personally, I think Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce are the nectar of the gods. They're everything perfect and pair so well with anything- beans, rice, beef, pork, seafood, etc.
Of course, you have to get the RIGHT brand of peppers.
We use LA MORENA® brand has been providing high quality, authentic Mexican taste to homes for over 35 years. They're a trusted, premium and high quality brand! They can easily be found at Walmart. At my Walmart, they're by the Hispanic foods.

This sauce is amazing.
Double it- trust me. I did. I saved half in a container so I can make pulled pork sliders out of it later this week.
The sauce is so easy- half a can of LA MORENA® Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce - 7 ounce can, ketchup, honey, cumin, paprika, garlic and lime juice. That's it.
Spread chicken on a parchment sheet lined cookie sheet.
Spoon the sauce over the wings (I buy the frozen drumettes- easy peazy. You can use the fresh wings, too or even tenders and make boneless wings) and use a basting brush to coat the wings.
Bake at 400 for 45 minutes. Broil for 5 minutes.
Remove and squeeze fresh lime over the hot wings
