Out of excitement for the upcoming SMURFS: Lost Village movie and nostalgia for my childhood, I made the dipped rice krispies treats in a Smurfy theme! Oh and a pretty sweet giveaway for YOU!
I am pretty stoked for the upcoming SMURFS: Lost Village movie! As a kid, I grew up on the Smurfs Saturday morning cartoons and I am sure many of you did, too! The films that have come out since the Saturday morning cartoons were so much fun and now, with the Lost Village coming out- it's time to celebrate!

In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does. Embarking on a roller-coaster journey full of action and danger, the Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history!
In honor of the movie, I decided to make these fun rice krispies treats dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with BLUE sprinkles!
These treats are incredibly easy to make and you can have them whipped up in NO TIME at all!
Rice Krispies Treats (store bought or homemade. If homemade, I make this recipe)
White chocolate melts (I prefer the Ghirardelli melts!)
Blue Sprinkles (I used sugar pearls from Wilton)
1. Melt white chocolate melts as instructed on the packaging.
2. If using homemade treats, cut them into desired sized pieces.
3. Dip treats in chocolate until they're half covered and place on wax paper.
4. Sprinkle with sprinkles.
5. Allow to set and enjoy!
Now- ready for a fun giveaway?
