Protect Your Eyes and Still Enjoy Your Electronics

As a heavy user of computers and electronic devices, protecting my daughter's and my eyes are extremely important to me.  This sponsored post is a part of the campaign “Protecting America’s Eyes” by Reticare in order to inform U.S. citizens about the importance of eye protection from device screens. The opinions expressed in this post are entirely my own.

Like many of you, I spend a lot of time in front screens.  At my day job, I am in front of a computer.  When I come home, I am in front of a computer blogging.  Let's not forget about phones, tablets, TV and other electronic devices that I am glued to.  Em, she loves playing apps on the tablet when she comes home from her after school program.

That's a LOT of eye strain.  As an eye glass wearer, I am acutely aware of when my eyes are TIRED and that's practically every single day.  I try to give my eyes breaks but I feel like more needed to be done as it's not feasible to step away from my work desk every 30 minutes.

Why You MUST Try Blue Apron (It's a sanity saver!)

Have you seen the ads about Blue Apron around? I have seen them quite often and it's always piqued my interest.  I was given the opportunity to try Blue Apron and I am now a convert.  You must try Blue Apron

Find out WHY I am a HUGE fan!

Today’s post is sponsored by Blue Apron and is a part of the Insider’s Program on Bloggy Moms. All opinions are my own.

I have been curious about Blue Apron and have wondered whether it was safe (I do live in the extreme heat of Phoenix) and whether it was worth the cost.  So when the opportunity came to me, I couldn't pass it up.

I was extremely nervous because I have an allergy to shellfish and fish and since I do have a full time job, I needed a Saturday or evening delivery because the heat here will decimate any fresh food if left outside too long.

Preteen Boredom Buster with Doodle Crate

*This is a sponsored post by Kiwi Crate as a part of the Insiders Program on Bloggy Moms.  All opinions are my own*

I don't know about your kids but my daughter is starting to get that anxiousness that comes with being ready to head back to school. She's bored.  It's too hot to really do much outside (it really is!) and finding ways to keep her active, creative and NOT BORED is always a chore.

That's why I am REALLY excited to share this Preteen Boredom Buster with Doodle Crate!

The Doodle Crate is a monthly subscription box tailored towards kids 9-16 to inspire creativity with a fun DIY kit!.

Control Cravings On The Go

This post was sponsored by Meta Appetite Control as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central.

I recently wrote a post with easy tips to control your appetite.  What if you're on the go? There are STILL easy ways to control cravings even when you are on the go.

I don't know about YOU, but when I am running errands, I get a little hangry and when that happens? I am pulling into a drive thru and grabbing something to eat that is completely detrimental to getting healthier.

Owlcrate Review: June Royalty Box

Oh Owlcrate how you appeal to my YA loving heart.   I am pretty excited about the contents of the June box and am really excited to review & reveal it for you.

WAIT until you find out what's in July's box.  Oh my nerdy soul is so happy!

Owlcrate Review

This Owlcrate review is not sponsored and is purchase by me - in all my nerdy glory and has some affiliate/referral links contained within.

Owlcrate is a YA themed monthly subscription box that contains one newly published and highly anticipated young adult book, and 3-5 bookish goodies. Each month is themed and honestly? They rock.

June is not my first box from Owlcrate but it is my first time finally reviewing said box.  As I posted about Muse Monthly, I found out about Owlcrate in the same Buzzfeed Listicle.  (Thanks again, Buzzfeed) and I have been BLOWN away by the contents each month.
