It's Monday! What Are YOU Reading?

"It's Monday! What Are You Reading?" is a weekly link up hosted by the wonderful Sheila at Book Journey.  Each week, we share what we read and what we are reading! I totally think you should join in on the fun!

For the last two weeks, I have been INHALING Lisa Gardner books.  They are insanely awesome.  I think I have finished FIVE of them.  I read "Say Goodbye", "The Neighbor", "Touch and Go", "The Killing Hour" and "The Perfect Husband".  She is a fantastic writer and they are super dark.

Now, this week, I have switched gears.  Last week was a baaaaaaaaad week for me and what do I do when I am on the pity pot? Go to the book store, of course!

I am a sucker for an awesome cover.  Seriously.  Sometimes I don't even care about the synopsis and just buy it.  I know, I know.  Many times I have regretted such impulse but most times, I have hit pay dirt!

So I am sure you can guess... I found eye candy.  Oh yes indeed, I did!

Check out this beauty:

From the author's website:

Book 1 of the White Trash Zombie SeriesAngel Crawford is a loserLiving with her alcoholic deadbeat dad in the swamps of southern Louisiana, she's a high school dropout with a pill habit and a criminal record who's been fired from more crap jobs than she can count. Now on probation for a felony, it seems that Angel will never pull herself out of the downward spiral her life has taken. That is, until the day she wakes up in the ER after overdosing on painkillers. Angel remembers being in an horrible car crash, but she doesn't have a mark on her. To add to the weirdness, she receives an anonymous letter telling her there's a job waiting for her at the parish morgue--and that it's an offer she doesn't dare refuse. Before she knows it she's dealing with a huge crush on a certain hunky deputy and a brand new addiction: an overpowering craving for brains. Plus, her morgue is filling up with the victims of a serial killer who decapitates his prey--just when she's hungriest!Angel's going to have to grow up fast if she wants to keep this job and stay in one piece. Because if she doesn't, she's dead meat.Literally.

Tell me it doesn't look and sound awesome?

Have you purchased a book based solely on the cover? Did you regret it? Love it?
