Hump Day Music featuring Slow Jams

Whew! It's Wednesday and I am so happy to be midway to the weekend.  Overall, this week hasn't been terrible and is moving quite fast.  I have really been reevaluating my short term and long term goals.  These goals are not only my professional but personal goals, too.  I tend to over-extend myself and I have to prioritize where I want path to go.  I am at a crossroads and I know that the universe will lead me in the right direction!

This week has been crazy at work (Pfffttttt... who am I kidding? Isn't work always crazy??) and I have to focus.  I haven't had to pick up my phone extension much this week, which is nice, but I have been focused on reviewing claims and writing up appeal letters and when I do this, I have my earbuds in and put on one of my many customized playlists I have created in my Amazon Cloud Player.  I looooove that app for my music.  I have the iPhone 5 and I am just not a fan of iTunes.  I love buying physical CDs and many of the ones on Amazon come with the free digital version.  Best of both worlds.  Ahhhh I am so old school.  Or maybe it's just my hoarding tendencies.

What have I been streaming this week? Slow Jams.  I mean 70s and 80s slow jams. The good stuff.  The stuff that makes you want to fall in love.

Songs like "You Should Be Mine (The Woo Woo Song)" by Jeffrey Osborne.  My goodness, Jeffrey Osborne's voice and paired with the songs... just pure heaven.  I hear this and it makes me want to fall in love.  I don't care with who ... haha

Joe "Bean" Esposito's song, "Lady Lady Lady" is such a lovely ballad and was featured in the movie "Flashdance".  Joe Esposito is also known for "You're the Best" from Karate Kid.  His name isn't as well known but once you hear the songs... you know them.  He is an amazing talent.

No Slow Jam playlist is complete without "Just Once" by James Ingram.  I found this live video and holy cow, his voice is phenomenal live as it is in a studio.  Blown.  Away.

)

Can't forget Benny Mardones!

To end this week's post, I present Mr. Paul Davis.  His greatest hits album is one of my favorites.  I love his look.  I love his voice.  The lyrics.  The man was magic.  RIP Paul Davis
